Well done, the 244 car looks lovely, and I should say well worth the asking price. Good fortune for the sale.

eBay Ad Photos

Hi,

I think this is probably your eBay ad:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274978804...YAAOSwWn1hNIoV

... the ad doesn't have any photos. I don't know whether that was your intention or it is a technical glitch; either way it would be a good idea to sort out a few pictures as I don't think you will attract any serious interest without them.

Good fortune,

Alan

I see what you mean, Alan. My guess would be technical - they remind me of old undeveloped Polaroid snaps.

Regards, John.

That has been sorted out now, maybe there was a technical problem at eBay?

It looks like a nice motor car and it will be tax exempt next April.

I suppose it depends how fussy a prospective buyer might be. It is a pity the dings are on separate panels all over the car, that would make it quite costly to get rid of all of them. One could just drive it as it is (free), of fix the dings with a hot glue dent puller, some filler and rattle cans (cost £100 or so) or have a body shop fix them plus respray the whole car (cost £3,000). It it was me I'd probably go the middle way because even after the last option the motor car wouldn't be worth £6,000.

I like the look of this motor car, there seems to be a little bit of rust around and behind the nearside rear wheel, but otherwise it is nice and would be a good buy at the VOC forum members' price (from memory £2750?).
