1997 Volvo 850 GLT 2.4 10V N/A manual saloon Coral Red £580

Car is located in Worcester near Junction 6 of the M5, £580.

Listing on behalf of my father, the car has nothing to do with me.

My dad bought the car as a stop gap while he did an overhaul on his other car, this is now finished so he no longer needs the 850.

MOT until December 2021

He recently replaced all four tyres two are Avon and two are Yokohama, anti roll bar droplinks, Bougicord HT leads, distributor cap, odometer drive gear and three CV boots.

Bodywork is okay, has lacquer peel here and there especially the spoiler.

It has the usual rust hole in the O/S wing

Lowered but not sure what springs etc as it was a previous owner.

Ferrita stainless exhaust sounds very nice.

Mileage is incorrect as it wasn't working for about 3 months, he does roughly 7k miles a year so it will only be a couple thousand out at the most, the odometer displays 174k miles and going up as in daily use until it sells.

He said it uses or loses a bit of oil, unsure which.

Interior is presentable, marks here and there but nothing hanging.

With 8 months ticket that seems very reasonably priced and should not be sitting about for long!

Good luck with the sale!

Still for sale

Thats a cracking price, and the car looks in reasonable condition, I'm sure it will go soon.

Just a cheeky question for you - would you sell the wind deflectors, carpet mats and radiator grille?

All the best, Sam

Hiya Sam

Thanks for the kind words, I asked my dad and he said no he won't sell them separately.

Thanks
Luke

OK, thanks for asking :)

I was thinking that I could give your Dad £100 or so for those bits, meaning he could sell the car for £480 and still end up with the same money overall.

Please bear me in mind if he decides to start selling bits off ;) I'm not in any rush as I still haven't got my 855R yet lol.

All the best, Sam

My Dad's other car passed the MOT so if anyone wants to test drive it on the road then you've only got a couple of days max, after that it is going on SORN.

Hi, Do you know the BHP of this one? there seems to be three engine outputs for the 2.4/2.5:
140
144
170

also is that a hole in the front drivers side wing above the bumper infront of the wheel in the second photo? Interested in this, just wodnering if we can collect easy enough as we are in dorset.

Cheers
