V50 1.6D weird issue

I have a strange issue with my V50 1.6D drive E. On longer journeys it doesn’t miss a beat till I say slow down to turn etc and then it’s a little lumpy for only a few yards and is totally fine again. I can live with that no problem just curious to what may be the issue? Thanks

They are called “drive” because you are heavily involved in driving these engines. The are torqeless, you need to use the gearbox all the time. You’ll get used to it , I did when I swapped from a D5 to a 1.6d . Their frugality makes up for a lot.

Thanks, at least I know there isn’t a fault lurking around.
