I get a company car on 24/05/2021 so my car is up for sale.
It is still usable as it is.

I have removed and scrapped seats 6 & 7 so it’s a 5 seater.

Out of interest what was the point t if removing seats 6 and 7? Was this for space, electronic etc?

Only my wife and I ever used the car so I removed them to save a shed load of weight. I had to cut the frame so scraped them. I also removed 3 & 5 as they do not have any electrical connection. I have refitted them.

D5 diesel, auto gearbox, premium sound system, beige hide Interior, black paintwork, no dents, no rust, cam belt and water pump renewed 2018, LXZ 4383 if you want to check the MOT.
Import from Ireland - 4 UK owners + me. I’ve traveled 14000 miles in it and have all the receipts for the parts I have bought. I replaced the gearbox oil when I bought it and it needs doing again. I have 20 litres of the correct oil. It needs a glow plug (£43) which is inhibiting the particulate filter regeneration. Electrical driver’s seat.

The engine power is sometimes restricted so l have reduced the price to £800.
I still suspect the particulate filter is not going through it’s regeneration cycle.

Went and had a look at it Saturday with Daughter.

'Bits' the seller, good lad found to be genuine and very helpful.

We took the car for test run, initially drove okay and accelerated as expected, but when warmed up there is a definiant hesitation there.

I would possibly agree with the particulate filter, although no codes were thrown up and I didn't take the opportunity to plug the VIDA in that I had brought with me. Apologies for that one 'Bits' my error.

With the exception of the rear set of seats they are all there and in good order, as is the bodywork, even considering the age of the vehicle.

Yes, it needs work to bring back to full order, IMHO very do-able if you know your way round a Volvo of this period (either the XC90 or XC70) and can work a box of spanners and sockets! Parts are available if you know where to look.

Sadly, for me it just wasn't what I was looking for at the time as I'm going to be busy at work all summer and just wont have the time for another 'project car' until late autumn at best. Someone is going to be getting what could become a good workhorse, with reasonably little effort.
