Replaced my Front Wheel Bearing, here are some pics:

a) Jack up and support car on stand on firm solid ground

b) Remove wheels and prise open bearing dust cap. Be gentle not to damage it, you may need to reuse this. The new bearing i bought come along with new lock nut and dust cap, but the new cap is too fit and can't be driven in, so i reused the old cap.

d) Remove the upper guide pin bolt on the brake caliper to withdraw the brake pads

e) Remove the brake caliper assembly by removing the 2 screws behind the caliper
Attachment 17427

f) Rest the caliper on the radius rod, such not to strain the hose, unclip the plastic hose clip if necessary. Tie the caliper with string to nearby rod to prevent it from falling down.

g) Loosen lock nut using #36 socket and long bar, this nut is known to be very tight, but not in my case.

h) Remove lock nut

i) Remove the hub from the axle, in m case it is almost effortless.
Clean the axle and apply some lubricant.
Attachment 17435

j) Put in the new hub. An original Volvo hub comes with a plastic spacer in the bearing internal hole, it is to prevent the bearing case from falling out.
Drive in the hub by pushing with a #36 socket, this can prevent the bearing from dropping out.

k) When the hub is fully pushed in, the plastic spacer will drop out.
Removethis spacer before putting in the new lock nut.
Attachment 17434

l) Screw in the new lock nut to the torque specified on the duct cap.
I don't have a torque wrench, so just hand tightened to body weight wit few times jerk.

m) This is how a new Volvo original set looks like.
