Advice please!
 

I'm about to pull the trigger on a late 2015 V60CC AWD with less than 40k miles (3k done in each of the last two years) and I'm a little concerned about the EGR and any other problems with this engine arising from such low usage. D4 187bhp 5cy.

Any advice welcomed, thanks!

I think it will be 3 years in October since i got my 185, i got it with just over 161k and its now on 166100, no issues relating to the EGR as yet, thats not t say there wont be further down the line, but as its stands, not yet...

I'd be more worried about the low mileage of a 6 year old car to be honest. Has it spent its days idling in traffic jams or just occasional weekly use on long journeys? If it's the former, i'd look elsewhere, if it's the latter you could have a good car.

Budget for a full service including timing belt change, oil/filter etc when you first get it though as i suspect the servicing will have been done on mileage rather than time.
