Map Update Progress
 

I am in the process of updating my north west Europe map via usb as it said the file was too large for a data connection.

It says it is installing and there is a little swirly wheel in the top right corner. It has been like this for a while now probably after more than an hours driving.

However there is no progress bar like there is when updating on line so I have no clue where it is upto.

I am missing something? Should there be a progress bar?

That seems perfectly normal, I've never seen a progress bar, just the spinning wheel. It can take a while depending on the size. Once the download has finished you should get a message, can't remember the exact wording but along the lines of 'to finish download switch the car off'.

I've only ever updated on line before using the cars internet connection and that gives you a percentage figure as the map updates.
