2007 V70 roof rail removal
 

Please can anyone give me some advice how to remove the roof rails on my 2007 V70. I have tried to unclip the end cover caps and slide them off but they do not budge!

I need to take the rails off the car to get them re-painted as the lacquer is failing and the rails look terrible.

Hi, don't know if there the same fixings but i had some 940 rails fitted to a 740 i once owned. I bought the volvo fixing kit for the rails and these were secured with special screws that screwed into the bottom of the rail by removing the headlining.
