Volvo V50 SE Sport D5 R-Design
 

Here we have a very nice Volvo V50 SE Sport D5 R-Design in black. It has MOT until June 2022.
This is a very well looked after car. It has a full service history, at Volvo dealers and specialists. In the last few months it has had around £3000 spent on it – work has included a service and cambelt, the rear brake pads and disks have been replaced, the rear suspension has been completely replaced, and two of the alloy wheels have been refurbished. The mechanical work was done by Fisher’s Volvo Specialists in Gloucester using genuine Volvo parts.
Condition is excellent as you can see from the pictures. Mileage is approximately 139,500 (though this will rise slightly as the car is in use), but you would hardly know it, apart from a small amount of wear to the driver’s seat (they all do that and it's not unreasonable for the mileage), the interior is in excellent condition, and the boot has a rubber liner. It comes with both keys.

This has the rare (for the V50) 2.4 five cylinder D5 diesel engine. This one runs perfectly. It is the six-speed manual. Also, it has a Pure 'Highway 600' DAB radio/Bluetooth phone unit fitted.

It would be great for growing families – plenty of space, and plenty of performance.

All in all, then, a very well maintained car in excellent condition that will give many years of service. I am not one for hyperbole, but you will be doing well to find a better car for the age and mileage.

This is mainly because it has developed a minor fault with a sensor - all it means is that you need to put your foot on the clutch and brake to start it, and it has generated a fault code. A very small fault that doesn't affect day to day use.
