FOR SALE 1991 960 Estate 3.0 litre, 24 valve all aluminium petrol motor, auto. - the 'Rolls Royce of Volvos' apparently [never driven a Rolls!].

CRACKED BLOCK SO IT HAS TO GO TO SOMEONE ELSE TO CARE FOR. OFFERS INVITED.

Drives like a dream but loses water as fast as you can top it up so not driven since diagnosed and car is at main dealers FRF in Swansea where it was bought and serviced throughout it's life. Will drive onto transporter if needed.

Just 30 years old, 140,000 miles only. MOT January 2022. Full dealer service history. Most history file, handbook, sales literature etc. Only second owner 5 years, first owner from new to 2016. Gold metallic, full leather. Metal electric sunshine roof [sealed shut with 'cassette' lug broken, but spare glass roof and complete installation cassette etc acquired from breaker but not tested or fitted yet].

Originally fitted with full electrics and tow-bar, but tow-bar not with car when bought, but we have a replacement from a breaker not tested or fitted yet. Also bought some roof bars in case we wanted to fit them - but car not originally fitted with them so no holes in roof. These parts are at our house but we can bring them to the car together with sundry bits and pieces.

Appearance and condition generally good and sound [especially when alloys cleaned], bonnet needs painting, one replacement mirror is black not gold but electric controls work, minor touch ups to paint would be beneficial. Minor equipment niggles such as aerial electric deploy defunct but radio/cassette still works OK, driver's seat rake adjust motor kicks in but mechanism jammed, bits of interior trim fallen off but saved etc etc.

Insurance written off twice since our ownership due to 3rd party assaults costing more than the value of the car. First was a upvc plank flying off a merchant's truck and cosmetic damage to front of car. Second was a hit and run driver [but caught] who drove into the front offside wheel when parked damaging the steering and mirror [hence black mirror] - new steering rack and column I think - anyhow all repairs done by FRF.

Car is now SORNED and insurance cancelled and FRF would like it moved as soon as possible but not nagging. Anyone interested please email direct on owenhb46@gmail.com. Exchange phone numbers later with anyone serious.
