WANTED 1998 V70R Roof Rails

Anybody got a pair of roof rails and fittings for a 1998 V70 R?

Do you mean the rails that fit to the car or the bars that go across the rails?
Set of these on ebay...

It's the actual rails that the bars clamp on to.
Found some rails but not with complete fittings. These are seeming hard to source.

Hi terika4e

Are the R rails different from the non R V70s?

I have some rails with fittings. (3 bolts each side, trim piece for trim rear on each side, 3 bolt cover clips on each side, various yellow and white trim clips).

Will you be cutting your own full length trims down to length and reusing your yellow and white clips?

Which fittings are you missing?

I will send you a private message with my contact details.

Pretty sure there is no difference. Only skinny or chunky roof rail types, which seem to maybe correspond to age,but not always! Seen 1999/2000 cars with skinny rails and older ones with chunky rails.

The cross bars, genuine low profile aero ones are super rare.

All 850's came with the skinny rails and all the early V70's up to 1999 also had the skinny rails except the V70xc (cross country). They were the first car to have the thicker rails in 1997, then during 1999 or very late 1998, they moved onto the thicker rails. They can easily be swapped from skinny to thick, so are often seen on the earlier cars!
