LED caravan lights

I have been thinking about trading in our old Bailey Pageant against a new Bailey Pegasus. However, I have read that some car manufacturers do not consider their electrics compatable with LED lights (Land Rover is one), and wondered if anyone on this site had compatability problems with Volvo wiring?
What problems could the use of LED caravan lighting cause? It seems strange that caravan manufacturers are moving across to LED lights if some car electrical systems are not suitable.

I have heard faint whisperings of this, but Im at a loss to understand why there should be a compatability problem. Am I not right in thinking some of the newer Volvos have a led component in the rear clusters. I have LED's on my van, and I have no issues.

LED lights use less power than normal bulbs and this can cause problems with the sensing and control gear on some moden cars. You can get a resistor to to go in parallel with the LED bulbs so they have the same power draw (wattage) as a normal bulb, also I belive that you can get LED bulbs with these built in.
I do not know if this is a problem with volvo's or not.The car may not detect that the indercators are working on the caravan through.
