XC90 3 Year Service Pack
 

Hello

Does anyone know if this can be purchased after the initial order stage via another dealer?

I'm looking at financing and ordering via Santander and they do not offer the service pack. However, they are suggesting it can be purchased after the car is delivered.

My local dealer is suggesting this is not the case and can only be added at the initial order stage.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Discounted Service Plans are an offer from Volvo and aren't always available.

Assuming the offer is available it CAN be purchased after the car is delivered - if I remember correctly the discounted Service Plan has to be purchased within 30 days of registration/delivery (can't remember which).

However...it isn't unheard of for the offer to be made outside of the 30 days. In my case I took delivery of my XC60 in September 2020 - no discounted Service Plan available. I got a call from the salesman who sold me the car in January 2021 offering the 3 year Service Plan for £399. I duly snapped his hand off.

According to the small print it can be purchased upto 1 month from purchase if conditions are met, I do not know what conditions, Volvo UK customer services will advice.
