How do I delete a post? There's no option to edit it or delete that post, I put this one in the wrong thread.

I think the mods have to delete the post, it's not offensive or anything just obviously in the wrong place so they may leave it or perhaps remove it in the interests of cleaning the thread up.

I'd hope that mods delete my post because it ruins the look and mood of this post. A clean up would be nice.

The big thing to look out for is rust. Mechanical problems are easier to deal with than rust. If you look at this thread https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=312429 you'll get a good idea of where 240s tend to rust.

I will take it in the best possible way that my car is held up as an example of how badly 240s rust.. haha!

It will see a road again. ( Don't know where, don't know when)

But I think the post you put here by mistake really says something about why you'd want to go touring in an old Volvo rather than a newer one with lots of electronics...

Very few of us have the metalwork skills and patience that you've shown. You should go ahead and buy more rusty Volvos.

I'm sure it was meant in an entirely respectful way Juular - we are all enormously impressed with your project and look forward to each new episode.
