S40 t4 2002 model
[FONT="AriHI CAN ANYONE HELP, I HAVE A VOLVO S40 T4 2002.THE PROBLEM IS THE ENGINE MANAGMENT LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AFTER ONLY A FEW MILES, I HAVE RESET THE SYSTEM WITH AN ODB 11 SCANNER BUT IT STILL COMES ON, THE FAULT ON THE SCANNER SAYS THE SYSTEM IS TOO LEAN, MY LOCAL VOLVO GARAGE SAYS IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SENSOR ON THE EXHAUST, WHERE IS THE SENSOR,HOW DO I GET TO IT?

I have moved your thread to the S40 forum where you are more likely to receive an answer :)

It will be one of the O2 sensors on the exhaust playing up(also known as lambda sensors). If you get the fault code it will tell you "bank 1 sensor 1, or sensor 2. This is the fwd and aft O2 sensors its refering to.
