pcv and oil trap conversion
 

I have a 2003 Volvo S40 1.9 non-turbo.

I need a pcv oil trap conversion as it is hard to purchase an oil trap for my s40 here in the philippines and if there is one, it is too expensive.

Has anyone tried a conversion in lieu of the original one? What do you suggest I do? Is it really that important that I need to do a conversion or I can do away without doing one?
