New Android Auto & WhatsApp
 

Hi,

New to the forum and want some help on the new infotainment system.
I previously had a 2018 V90 which had Apple Carplay so I could access my WhatsApp and SMS messages along with my diary so could join Teams meetings from the car.

I now have a 2022 XC60 with the new Android Auto system and I can find how to do any of the above.
Any advice would be welcome.

Hi - the only way is to use CarPlay still, which is really annoying but the AAOS doesn’t integrate with WhatsApp yet. If you’ve got a 22my, the CarPlay should be available in the latest OTA software update. You can check this in the settings menu and download it if necessary

Working on the 22my but has to be a wired connection.
Map behind steering wheel disappears if you use Apple Maps otherwise everything else I have tried seems to work.
