Rear valance for saloon
 

Rear valance (later saloon):
Got a towbar ready to fit, but having serious second thoughts about molesting my uncut valance. Probably worth the time finding an old one for towing duties and store the original for its dotage...

Anyone have a rear valance, or two halves of one, lying around?

Fit tow.bar without valance. If you find a spare get it, but maybe decide why bovver fitting a valance, just keep your valance safe. :)

Valaces tend to get chucked. For exampleThere is forum post saying that was routine when a dealership they worked in fitted towbars.

Not a bad idea for a short term fix - although with a later saloon, the plastic wrap around the sides matches the door stonechip protectors and fits to the mudguards so frankly looks ghetto without. Thanks.
