Sensus not connecting to the internet

I am having issues with sensus not connecting to the internet. I have tried Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot and direct connect to the WiFi in the house. It has been working for the last 3 years so I am unsure what the problem could be. It went for a service last month and I don't think it has worked since.
Yesterday I did a full sensus reset (I do not recommend that to anyone btw) but other than making me waste hours putting everything back to normal, internet access is still not working.
Anyone with this issues? I am going to try to use the built in modem with a SIM cars to see if that works but it is very extrange that it stops working like this.

If you don't have a sim card fitted then the connection is through the phone.

So I would start with phone settings and passwords.

Thanks for the reply. I have already check the phone. Changed to bluetooth internet sharing and I even put a sim in the car's modem. They all appear to be working and the correct icons show at the top but the apps do not connect to the internet. Very weird. It cannot be hardware, it must be some kind of software issue so I hope a reset by the dealer helps.

There was a previous problem with vodafone sims not connecting to the Internet. It was a vodafone issue with their configuration.
