Shattered Tailgate
 

Hi all,

A mishap today while I was having a TV aerial replaced on the roof, the unsecured fitters ladder blew over and smashed the tailgate. I need to get some quotes to have it fixed but I was wondering whether Volvo would just replace the entire unit including the frame? What with the wiper and handle it seems that replacing the glass only would be quite difficult to do. Anybody had this done?

if its insurance then they will decide, otherwise its easier to just get a replacement tailgate - tons on ebay etc.
