Roadhawk dc 4

Hi everyone.....anybody had the volvo recommended roadhawk dc 4 fitted yet?
My xc40 going in to Glasgow volvo on the 13th for a fitting and was wondering if anyone had had one fitted yet and how good or bad it is....ie ,interference with dab radio ,size of actual model
I did ask Glasgow about interference with radio but they've not fitted one yet so couldn't comment!,so any info would be appreciated!

On a completely different note....I've just purchased this car and noticed the passenger mat doesn't have studs to clip in to!(current mats in it the passenger mat doesn't have the holes to clip in!),is this the way now!?

Looking forward to comments

Regards
Paul 😊

I’m interested in hearing any feedback you may have, or if anyone else has any reviews or info on the DC4…. My Volvo dealer wouldn’t recommend any dash cam earlier in the year (again because of interference issues). However as this DC-4 is fairly new (released late 2023) and being advertised on the Volvo website with fitting, I’m hoping this is going to be compatible?! 🙏

Hi Rulphy,
So had my dc4 fitted on Friday and have had a few problems.....firstly it wasn't hard wired so I believe if it was it would be working better at least, the app seems to not link correctly with the cam,I see what the camera sees live but theirs files their of previous journeys but none open to show anything, it also seems to have affected my Internet connection, I've tried resetting but to no avail,my music apps(spotify+amazon)wouldn't work yesterday but seem OK today!.....I've tried to speak to parts at Glasgow today but waiting on someone getting back to me,I'll give them a chance to rectify it all but if it comes to it I think I'll be telling them to dismantle and give me my money back!.....ps I paid 300 to supply and fit!

The Roadhawk DC3 was supplied to Volvo UK dealers to fit to customer's cars from about 2018 , so I would think it has been tested !

I have very nearly the same problem. My Volo distributor said my XC 90 was the first they had fitted with a Roadhawk DC-4

Hi I had the Volvo recommended roadhawk DC4 fitted via volvo garage , not many instructions to go by , cannot get the cam to connect to iPhone ,cannot see live feed so at the moment would not recommend. Waiting for information from the tech on monday. Think Volvo need to check this system , if not working by wednesday it will be me asking for money back . Any one else disappointed with the roadhawk dc4 dash cam

Regards Mike

I think volvo have discontinued this tie up with Roadhawk in the last couple of weeks.. maybe it's too troublesome..

Hi....sorry for not coming back on this sooner,Glasgow volvo eventually admitted that the DC-4 is not up the standard it should be and removed it and gave me a refund!
