I wonder if the log book issue date refers to an address change . It was advertised as being in Lakenheath originally.

The area was probably too posh, so he moved!😇

If I remember correctly Andrew, the motor car previously had a personal number plate (BED991) - which I think is now transferred to an Audi TT (maybe he sold it, or perhaps another car belonging to Rikvdub). The new V5 would have come when the personal plate was transferred and the current number (F636TOO) was issued.

Manual with, it appears, overdrive though the photo of the gearlever is overexposed. And it has the ultra-rare oil temperature gauge fitted.

Worringly, the steel is described as "thin".

Maybe that is a bit clearer? Quite a few pics of the gear lever one way or another.

I find it more bizarre that the front door cards are from a car with "keep-fit" windows instead of electric but it has 4 electric windows....... :err:

It would appear that Euro-spec GLTs aren't as well-appointed as UK-spec ones - manually adjustable mirrors, wind-it yourself rear windows, velour upholstery (though velour was a delete-option) and only 122BHP; a B23E had 140BHP and a B230E 133 so they're down on ponies as well as toys.

There's no photo of the driver's door handle to confirm the presence of electric window switches either.

Having another look through the pics, i unearthed this one showing the drivers door armrest (albeit from the side) but there's also another of a rear door showing a manual winder for the left hand rear window.

Some photos of the front (right) passenger door suggest a lack of electric windows also. Maybe it's just missing the front winder handles?
