It’s going to sell for more than the auction estimate. I’m amazed they only estimated it at that.

Their estimates are often on the low side. Even so, I wonder if a '1' dropped off the beginning of the price by mistake.

Its that low on purpose, a good ploy if you think about it :)

You can bid online if you set it up in time. I believe the auction house also offers delivery to save you a 9-10 hour round trip - 8 hours driving and the other time loading on the trailer and comfort breaks on the way.

Contact the seller and see if they will sell before the auction too, you never know your luck.

I don't know the car but the number plate looks familiar, sure I've seen it either on this forum or on a facebook group. Someone may come foreward. It's surprising that 'thousands have been spent on it' only five years ago and then stored yet no receipts have been retained. The asking price is obviously low but I wouldn't put a 1 in front of it. Paintwork and bumpers do look superficialy to be in good condition but the interior needs some work including a new dash top. Not necessarily an issue but the suspension looks unusually high front and rear.

The ad seems to have been pulled now, maybe he already has!
