Scam warning
 

You may already be aware of this but it is worth noting that a scammer by the name of Henry Criddle is out and about. He responds to requests for parts along the lines that he is elderly, ill and therefore giving up on a project car that he is breaking and to let him know what bits you need and he will send them on. His reply is usually accompanied by an image of the kind of car that you are looking for parts for. This image is often, however, either extremely blurred, or of a car that is clearly not a failed project and eligible for breaking.
He has attempted to scam members of the Traction Owners Club, The Wolseley Register, and numerous others. Presumably the idea is that you send off your money, but the spares never turn up, although some have suggested that it is also a ploy to find your location so that car theft can take place. He has also used an alternative name more recently, Nicholas Burwell.
Another variation of a theme is to reply to a wanted ad for a car with a similar story. Obviously the car does not exist. Fortunately Mr Criddle/Burwell, often makes obvious mistakes in descriptions of goods for sale, so a little vigilance will usually catch him out.
Sometimes an address is given, the Traction Owners Club checked one out in the borders near Dumfries. It did not exist.

So beware. Make sure that you know who you are buying from.
