Chassis required
 

Hi, I'm new here, and at the risk of sounding like a complete Philistine ... I'm in an odd situation. I have a 1984 360 GLT, which is off the road and is simply too expensive to reregister and get back on the road :( However, I'm reluctant to see it die as I enjoy it too much. I've always had a yearning to build a 'handbuilt' car, and would like to use the 360 as the basis for one. I'm not a mechanic or car specialist, however I have just joined a local car club for advice etc. My question is, does anyone know of an older car whose chassis would be a good place to start from?
