S80 v8
 

I am going to be selling my Black 2010 (10 Plate) S80 V8 in the next month or so. Before I put it on AutoTrader I thought I would see if there was any interest on the forum. The car has only 30k miles, full Volvo service history and has just had its first MOT at the start of this month which it passed with no issues. The car was one of Volvo UK's demo cars before I bought it so it is fully loaded, Xenons, Dolby Surround Sound, RTI Sat Nav, PCC etc etc (basically it has every option with the exception of radar cruise). It also has a few custom upgrades including full LED tail lights and LED interior lighting. You won't find a better V8 for sale and the car has been very well cared for. I am looking for about £12500 for the car and I am located near Glasgow.

I am only selling the car as I am getting a car through work as I am going to be doing a bit more driving for my job over the next couple of years. I would love to hang onto it but can't justify it to the family.

The V8 is still for sale. Had a few offers on the car off line but they were far too low. I am a little flexible on price though so anyone interested, get in touch. Going to try and post a few pics of the car later.

Hi Bemak, your car just a bit too expensive for me. I have just bought a D5 (185) S80 which I uplift from Inverness tomorrow. I hope you have success with your sale.
When I started looking for an S80 it quickly became apparent that there are not too many on the market, not only in Scotland but throughout the country. I have managed to acquire a very tidy, low mileage, one lady owner car. Looking forward to tomorrow. Sadly, my S60 will probably end up in an auction somewhere. An almost trouble free 05, D5 with 87K on the clock. A good buy for someone.

You are quite correct Dibble there are very few S80's to pick from, for some reason they just don't come up for sale very often. I specifically wanted the V8 which made it even more of a challenge. Ended up having to buy mine from a Volvo dealer just outside London, not an issue though as I talked them into delivering it to me.

Picked up my car today and had good drive from Inverness to the Kingdom down the infamous A9. Delighted with car. They are not sending my car to auction instead they will put up for sale themselves. I think they are quite impressed with it. Sad to see her go. She was pretty much trouble free. Hope your car goes to a good home.
