V70 D5 SE Lux 205bhp 6 speed manual

I’ve decided to sell my Volvo V70. It’s a 2011 model in Electric Silver, registered in 2010.
Mileage is 123,100 (approx, may go up) and it’s a manual 6 speed with the 205bhp 5 cylinder engine. Fairly unusual as most of these are auto. MOT to 27 July ’21.

It has electric driver seat with memory, tinted rear glass, DAB radio with Bluetooth hands-free and the Volvo integrated satnav with the most recent maps installed. Electric tailgate with remote opening. Genuine front mudflaps fitted and Volvo rubber floor mats & boot liner. Both keys and books present. Includes a real spare wheel. Xenon active bending headlights. Power-fold mirrors.

I do realise there are cheaper cars available elsewhere, but this one is for, like me, the very picky buyer. Although it’s nearly 11 years old, there is no damage or wear & tear anywhere, other than very minor stone chips on the bonnet. It’s a non-smokers car. This is how I keep my cars (and bikes).

I bought this car from the original private owner in June 2020 with 117,000 miles on the clock. He had it serviced religiously at his local Volvo dealer in Newbury & receipts are included. This included cambelt & aux belt kits at 88,000 and a complete new clutch & DMF.

I’ve done about 5000 miles since buying and the car really needs using more. I have other smaller cars & they’re getting used while the Volvo is sitting on the driveway.

Since buying, I’ve refreshed the suspension with new Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs all round. (Although the springs are 30mm lower than OE, the car starts off quite high so it does not really look lowered). New rear trailing arm bushes fitted. I fitted a genuine Volvo tailgate spoiler which I think improves the look of the car, also changed the steering wheel for the later R-design type. The biggest single improvement made is the fitting of the later TFT dash cluster, as the OE cluster looked a bit dated. Recent new front tyres and front disks & pads. I also fitted an engine dipstick kit, this is in addition to the standard electric dipstick.

Price is £5,000 firm and the car is near Banbury OX15. It will come with the original number plate, KW10XHJ.

Any questions, just ask via pm or call me on oh 789 oh oh oh oh oh 891
