XC30 - Any News ?
 

We are considering the XC60 for our next car, but ideally would prefer something a little more compact.

A length around 4350mm, compared to the XC60's 4627mm would be perfect.

I have found a few references to a possible XC30, but these rumours all date back to March 2010.

Is there any later news on a possible XC30 ?

I have heard something about a 5 door C30

A 5-door C30 will be presented later this year.

An XC30 (ie a "jacked-up") C30 are supposedly in the pipeline too.

I hope they announce details of the XC30 soon, even if the car is not available for awhile.

With the Audi Q3 and the Range Rover Evoque about to hit market, Volvo don't want to get left behind in that compact SUV category.

I would think that the Evoque is the same size as the XC60 - no??

It is .. and its a damn site better looking than the XC60 IMHO.

Still is a Range Rover which normally means bad quality and lots of faults!

The Range Rover is sold out already however!! Worldwide production - 18,000 all sold. Great news for Range Rover, although personally I think it is hideous and wouldn't have one if you gave it to me!

No, the Evoque 5 door is only 4365mm in length compared to the XC60 @ 4627mm.


The Evoque is wide, however, @ 1965mm excl. mirrors.
