Wiring loom in rear, what's it for?

Hi, I'm the proud owner of a second hand V70, 118,000 miles, '52 plate.

So far I'm very pleased. I won't be towing any time soon but I will be doing a bit of a conversion to make it into a day camper.

While clearing out I found a wiring loom in the rear.

What would have been attached to the loom? There is a connection to underneath, presumably for towing.

I can provide pictures if it'll help... what's the extra, internal, connector for?

I have an XC90 and the battery in under the boot floor.
Maybe it’s the same in your car.

No idea what the connection would be for. Maybe say in the V70 section.

Thanks Friendly, I realised I'm an idiot. Edited OP.

Still don' know what the loom is for, looks after market for sure.

What are your plans with the day camper conversion?
