1800 bits for free
3 Attachment(s)
Hi I've got these left over, I've just asked Simon what they are and he says this.
"Many years ago these were made to repair the rear chassis rails (Out Riggers), these welded to the back side of the inner sill panels and go towards the centre of the car. Regards Simon" Just cover the postage. David. |

Hi, Photo attached (hopefully) to show positioning for these, chassis rails to sill just in front of handbrake. You will need to fit a captive nut in one side to hold the bracket for the handbrake mechanism. I believe the originals were one piece across the whole vehicle. They (Brookhouse) now supply longer ones RH and LH which still don't meet in the middle but deal with more extensive rot (had to fabricate that middle bit). If, as appears normal, you have corrosion is at the sill end these are what you need. I hope someone is able to take advantage of this generous offer.
Best regards, Ian P.S. If I'm wrong about any of this please be kind in how you tell me I'm an idiot. |
Thanks for your useful information; and yes, I have taken advantage of the generous offer!
