Volvo V70 T5 – Spares or Repair £450

2002 V70 T5 Automatic, Approx 158K miles, MOT August 2022. Mistral Green paintwork (which is really blue). Leather. Well maintained but cosmetically not the best. Good service history.

Bad Bits

Reason for spares/repair is that the engine has significant oil leak. Diagnosed by garage as Crankshaft front oil seal and Camshaft front oil seal.
Car is Cat N recorded (bump some years ago that needed rear bumper and tail gate that were replaced with used parts)
Standard Alarm System Service message.

Good Bits

GROM unit fitted
Alloys refurbished a few years ago, and new Avon ZV7 tyres fitted only a few thousand miles ago.
Brand new ATE Brake Servo fitted last year (part cost £260).
Also had in in last few years:
Rear Suspension rebuild – new springs, shocks, Top Wishbone bushes, Trailing arm bushes, Meyle HD Droplinks
Front Suspension rebuild wishbone bushes, new struts plus top mounts and bearings, Meyle HD Drop Links
Volvo Aux Belt and Tensioner
Front and Rear flexible brake hoses
New Exhaust
Varta 830AH battery
Transmission Gibbons flush last year with Mannol fluid
Steering fluid flush, Brake Fluid Flush

All above done by me – receipts available for most. (Timing belt was done Aug 2015, 129K miles - Volvo)

Advertising here for 1 week only and then will be scrapped if no interest as space needed.

Listing for my daughter. She and the car are in East Sussex and I’m in Manchester otherwise I would fix it myself.

Based on the garage diagnosis the parts for repair are cheap so could be a good deal if you have the knowledge to repair yourself, or a source of some very good value parts.
