What's your average Volvo diesel MPG ?
I couldn't find a thread with average MPG by model when I was buying used so here goes:-

I'm jealous of everyone in this thread!
Model: XC90 Engine: 2.4D Spec: SE Lux Bhp: 185 Year: 2006 Average MPG: 24 Best MPG: 35 Worst MPG: 24 same as average 😔 My previous car 330d estate used to average 37-42mpg and I drove that like it was stolen. I miss it dearly, the XC90 is in another class however, super comfortable, really nice to drive, lots of spec, roof bars, towbar, side steps etc, so although the MPG is depressing, the functionality is exceptional and I dare not to part with it anytime soon. |

Model: S60 D4
Engine: 2.0 Spec: R Design Lux Nav Bhp: 181 Year: 2014 Average MPG: 36 mpg Best MPG: 56 mpg Worst MPG: 30mpg I do 32 miles a day to work and back, it is all dual carriageway but about 6 roundabouts so a lot of braking and accelerating back up to 70... ish Best MPG is a run from Norwich to Bristol, I was shocked! Best daily average is around 41mpg. Worst is when it's particularly cold early in the morning on the way to work, seems to affect it quite a bit. |
