New strut arrived - took two minutes to fit - works perfectly. Many thanks.

Sorry for the delayed reply - don't come here too often. Glad I could help, the 140nm unit holds the standard boot floor (with no heavy cover) up great. We have dog mats in the boot too and it has no issues.

Thanks you guys for all this info. Today, I replaced the original boot floor strut on my 2009 V70 D5244 T5 with one from Meyle and it works a treat; about an 1" longer but fully supports the floor with my tools in etc. Very grateful.

Hi guys, are there parts these attach to? Volvo in their penny pinching have removed this from the 2023 V90, and as before, bit of webbing and a hook.
I wonder if it’s possible to retrofit? |
Thanks for the info, I've a rezoplast boot liner, can confirm the pug version lifts it up and holds it up "just".

When you come to renew it, 140N will give more assist.

Did this on the weekend, installed the 140Nm one, oh boy, it becomes erect very quickly!

Replaced mine at the weekend too and it works a treat - I bought this one from Ebay:

Can someone post a picture of where these struts go please? My ex-Police car had a bit of carpeted mdf instead of the floor panel and I had to get one from a scrapper. I had no idea that these actually existed!
