i thought valve frendly was plain enough ????

I think that engines where the valves are OK of the OC belt breaks are called 'non interference'

You might have to use terms like this to avoid the 'wrath of chow'

Never mind, if he gives you any more trouble just ask him what the next 'classic volvo' that he will be adding to his 'stable' will be.

Thats it, Im retreating to a safe distance at this point!

Ah, remember Karma - you will have to drive a Volvo 66 in the next life to atone for your sins..........

can also be known as "valve frendly according to mr haynes manual"
thought it was quite understandable !

the belt from a ohc sierra/cortina/capri/granada 2.0 pinto WILL fit a volvo ohc engine but is either 1 tooth to many or 1 to less, i cant remember which off hand

tbh if the belts a tooth to long or a tooth to short then it doesnt fit, perhaps this explains why as you stated in your first post "you dont seem to have much luck with these engines" ........just a thought
