2012 C30 Built in Bluetooth/Phone no longer working.

Hello,

My 2012 C30's built-in bluetooth has stopped working after working fine for years. Whenever I press mode and select BT the radio screen is blank and only shows the time and AC information. I can no longer pair phones or stream music. Also, the green light for the phone button on the radio controls has turned off and now nothing happens when I press PHONE. It's almost as if the bluetooth or phone system on my radio has died. Anyone know where I can start to get it working again?

Update: Unplugged the battery and plugged it back in and it seems to have brought back the functions. Although the PHONE button took a while to come back. Maybe this could help in diagnosing the problem or part in case it happens again.

Thanks!

Update: Phone button light has a delayed start and bluetooth disconnects from Phone every minute 15 seconds.

If you have an aux socket, you could just replace it with a BTR3K then hardwire power to it. Starts on car ignition and automatically connects.

Seems like my entire radio set might need to be replaced as the FM is constantly cutting off and on too and the radio sounds like it's shorting out even when it's off you can see it turning off and on like it's being unplugged.

So maybe internal circuitry of it is going bad. You could also check the CEM and clean all the connections etc incase it's something going weird there (common fail point for electrics on our cars).
