Volvo 440 Lights for sale
 

Hi all. I have the headlights, sidelights and complete rear light assemblies for sale if anyone is interested. They were from my L Reg 440 that was scrapped in 2014. The headlights (not including the sidelights) were both bought brand new from Volvo in approx 2011 as the original ones failed the MOT. I would prefer collection if possible, especially for the headlights as way too many parcels arrive here damaged these days.

So...headlights were brand new (old stock) in 2011, and were on car for three years until it was scrapped in 2014 n- yes?

Might be interested in this stuff (need to think about how to collect/obtain though!); how much are you after for it all?

Hi David.
That's pretty much it. The original lights failed the MOT as the chrome reflector inside was peeling/discoloured. When I ordered the headlights from Volvo I believe they came from Germany and were about £130 each. The tail light and sidelight assemblies are the original ones from the car. Everything has been sitting in my workshop all these years as I had a notion to get another 440 and restore it. Realistically never going to happen though!
Make me an offer and they are yours. As I said, I'd really prefer not to post/courier them and will happily hold on to them until somebody can see/collect them in person. I always feel that it is best you see things with your own two eyes. Saves any problems.

ps If there is not much interest in them at the moment, I will just hang onto them as it would be a crime to dump them.

I'm reassured by your final comments, because my thoughts are that when we are next up your way (which we doubtless will be at some point in the not-too distant future) I'll get in touch again. If you still have them, we can meet and discuss.

Obviously if you find another buyer in the meantime don't hesitate to sell them on. I am looking simply to add to my spare parts; someone else might be in more need...
