North 120 meet...whos going?
Hi, who's going to the North 120 meet at Bolton Abeey, Embsay? Details near front of latest driver mag...
Im hoping to be there if my Dad will be kind enough to drive Thor there! Even if hes busy, I'll probably be able to get a lift from a local voc member I know. Steve |

Andrew, it seems that i will be able to go. My Dad was in an extra good mood today so I asked him whether he would take me, which usually means he will, unless we fall out the day before!

Unfortunately i am not going to be able to make this meet, I am helping my son move house (he needs a driver) perhaps next time.
S40-paul, as far as I am aware these meets are open to any member of the forum. |

The meets are open to anyone. You don't have to be a VOC member to show up and have a chat.
You do need to be a VOC member to enter your car into the rally though in order to have a chance of winning a trophy. As far as this meet goes its primarily for 120/amazon drivers and there is just one "open class" prize for any other model. Hope that clears it up. And yes it is on the 28th. |
Weather permitting I ill be there as long as the shudder from the front end doesn`t get too bad !

This meet in Bolton Abbey this weekend, what time does it start guys and will there be signs up to let ppl know exactly where it is? I am gonna try to get there.

I think it starts at something like 10:30 am but I like my lie ins on sundays so will probably get there for 11:30 - 12:00.
Any questions ask Andy Rowlands, he usually helps organise this one and there's usually signs up as you get close to the venue. |

The burgundy 145 (which looks really sweet) is the first I've seen with headlamp wipers. I either need to get out more or I've not been looking hard enough :) Cheers, T |
Thats Simon Ward's (one of the directors of teh VOC that I know). I think ive seen headlmap wipers before although i could be wrong!

Talk about a Swedish invasion! What a beautiful array of cars ... just looking through the pictures I'm thinking "Oh, that's nice" followed by "oh, that's nice" followed by "oh, that's nice" ... it's impossible to pick out one, the standard of them all is so high. It's great too to see a such a complete representation of the various models.
