Plastic Door and Centre Console Trims
Hi!
Am looking for a set of plastic (!!!) door and centre console trims. Must be from C30, S40 or V50 (year doesn't matter). Main thing is: no broken parts and plastic! Any one got some suggestions? Thanks Damien |
Trim
Hi Daim
I've got plastic (walnut effect) trim if you want to swap it for aluminium or similar (from V50 2006). |
Am still looking! Can't swap! Would like to buy!
Door trims and the centre stack trim! Only plastic please! |

Hi Brian, I'm still looking for the r-design interior door trims if you know of any going anywhere? Not had so much of a sniff at any since I started looking late last year!

Thanks but I got an almost brand new centre console already. The guy you pointed me in the direction of with the C30 breaking turned out to be a waste of time (not your fault I know), we agreed a price for some items but then he never got back to me and when I contacted him again he was always busy and would look the items out tomorrow and that was early December last year so I've given up on him now.

Very important: they all must be plastic... :) |

BTW I thought that all the dash trims were aluminium except for the wood and fake wood. |

Yes, the waterfall console is plastic too just like the handles. I guess your looking to wrap it? All ready and available if you want them. :star-wars-smiley-01 |

AFAIK only the R-Design, Nautical and a couple of others are aluminium covered the majority are all plastic. :star-wars-smiley-01 |

You've got a PM in a mo :) |
Sounds like a paint job then?? Interesting.
Can't wait to see, the wrap job you done on yours turned out really well. :star-wars-smiley-01 |
Thanks! Though I've already gotten fed up with the colour! :D
Paint job is going to be done... Just not quite sure which colour. That is the good thing about plastic: you can redo it as many times as you want ;) |

I want to wrap it. Do you think they are deep enough to show when wraped. Also a dumb question but my car is not an auto. The boot around the gear stick looks a different shape to yours. |

The dents though - not trying to run the console down - will show. The material will bend/stretch into that area... :( |

Thanks |

Yes, those little dents is al the damage that there is. As Daim has pointed out if you tried to wrap as it is then the dents are likely to show through, you could however apply a touch of filler to fill the dents and then it should wrap fine. Again as pointed out the consoles are all the same no matter if it is auto or manual, on the auto it is just left as you can see from the pics and on the manual your gear stick gaitor plugs the hole. :star-wars-smiley-01 |
Got what I wanted :D My search has ended!
Thanks SonyVaio! :) |
