A red estate on the eastbound carriageway of the A55 at Colwyn Bay yesterday afternoon. Looked to be tidy and the registration was something like K*** SJC I think. Dave

I think that I have posted this one previously, but still good to see!

That looks a lovely car.

In Bodmin on Saturday and noticed a dark blue Estate parked at the roadside. The number was very familiar as it's a personal one owned by someone I used to meet occasionally while working. I knew little of Volvos then but he had what I guess was an early-ish GLT as it had the GLT wheels, and also a vinyl roof, which I haven't seen very often. This was obviously not the same car resprayed, it had lots of chrome instead of GLT black, though it looked as if the wheels had been changed over. It's a shame if the old one had to be scrapped, it always looked good, but you can't always tell.

Today in Lostwithiel car park I was just putting luggage in the car and heard a familiar 'whoosh' from an approaching engine. Sure enough it was a 240, an Estate in a lovely pale blue metallic, foreign registration but no nationality plate so not sure. Very cheery waves and smiles from driver and passengers but they didn't stop, unfortunately.

Saw a silver estate this morning in the centre of Pwllheli, didn't get the full registration but was definitely a K reg. Dave.

Saw a red 240 estate heading towards Newport, Isle of Wight today. That's the first one I have seen on the island for well over a year.

You're just showing off! Far better that you should be back in the Old World keeping tabs on the flagging Mornington Crescent thread.

:)

Also spotted a beautiful white 940 this morning - just like my Tank, only cleaner and shinier. Good to see that there's folks with good taste here in California!

Saw a nice blue 240 GLT Saloon on the Halesowen bypass heading to Kidderminster Wednesday night. Couldn't tell if it was on multi-spokes or Virgo's but looked nice, and had some rather bright LED sidelights aswell.

Also good to see the back of his slides on those islands as much as mine does!!

I've just spotted this. That was my car you spotted. I was down working in Tipton for the week and traveled out to Kidderminster to pick up P1800 parts from Kevin Price. The wheels are Galaxy's. I done over 700 miles that week and only spotted 2 RWD Volvo's on the whole trip. I liked the look of yours tho and nice to see it being driven arse out as well.
