I need a long term switchable map as when the car goes back to the dealers they always flash the ECU so I would then need to reload the remap when I got the car back from them.

What is the cost of a remap and a softloader for a Volvo 1.6d, also would the same map work on a V70 and C30 with the same 1.6d engine?

Thirdly I am very close to Mansfield so for the couple of times a year the car is in the dealer, would you consider loaning me a softloader for use at your premises for a small charge rather than me purchase one?

We quote 240hp with a stage 1 remap, torque is increased to about 500Nm.

If your car is reflashed at a dealer during normal servicing, we always re-apply the map free of charge at our workshop.

The same map does not work on V70 and C30, they actually have completely different ECUs.

The price is £419 inc VAT for the remap, and the Volvo self tuning system is £200.

I think the soft loader is loaned anyway with a returnable deposit. Or I could be wrong?

Torque is increased to around 450Nm on C30/S40/V50 geartronics.
