This popped up today and looks quite good..

Seems to be a good package. Not a fan of the pale wood but I see there are a lot of consoles on EBay in steel. Are they easy to swap?

I’ve also seen this before which has just been reduced in price. One owner for the past ten years looks good.

I know there's lots about, but I really don't see the point of buying a convertible with a diesel engine, even a D5.

It depends on what it's used for. Mine is my daily driver so mpg is as important to me as in any other car. If you're talking about the noise, the D5 is hardly heard when cruising with the roof down. And if you floor it, it sounds pretty good anyway.

I prefer the second one. Same colour combo as mine, the dark wood looks really nice with the black leather (which is also easier to keep in good condition). The wooden steering wheel is lovely to hold. It comes with 17" wheels as well.

At that mileage make sure the cam belt and auxiliary belt have been done.

Thanks, going to enquire. Looks to have been a local car to me so might get some useful info. Only problem is no Bluetooth or Satnav, so I guess I’d be using Google Maps if there was a way to connect the phone. Is there a connection behind the audio panel in these?

I’d go for a petrol auto if the MPG wasn’t going to get me on th commute. Might be doing 800 miles a month for the next 6 months which I’m not looking forward to, hence looking at the diesel. Normally I’d go straight for the petrol. Unless there’s a big advantage I can offset or a saving buying it.

The latest satnav data is three years old so I wouldn't worry.

Best thing to do is go and have a drive and quiz the seller about the technical details.

Did you mean 8000 miles a month?

Why??

Mine was a daily drive as well. The roof is so good that tbh it’s no different to having a two door saloon. But my first thought when getting in was ‘can I put the top down?’
