£19k for a 2016 car is insane. Was seeing 2010-2012 xc70 in good to excellent condition for £4-8.5k earlier in the year.

The 4 cylinder VEA engine is not Ford, it's a proper Volvo unit.

The Ford/PSA diesel engines that infiltrated the V70 platform were badged as 2.0D and 1.6D. The 2.0 Ford engines were dropped for MY2011 onwards I think, they were replaced with 2.0 5 cylinder Volvo units.

If you think £19k is a lot. Volvo Poole currently has a D5 AWD XC70 with 35k miles for sale at £24k
I’ve seen 7 year old BMW 3 series with 120k for £17k. The used market right now is utterly broken. As much as I would like a newer vehicle, the current market makes it impossible.
