Hi,

Just to confirm what Andy said.

VW gave my friend in Germany a nice new engine after his went south. Along with 21 other people in his locality.

This because VW had forgotten to change a valve somewhere (or something).
Would only affect those running the car in below -20 degrees areas.
And Bavaria is just such an area.

He drove somewhere - stopped - started and the engine then failed.
And it was -22 degrees on that day.. :)
