So it’s worth looking at if you plan on keeping the car for some time.

Let´s be honest; If you improve performance, you want to use it sometimes so no gain in mpg. However you get a nicer car to drive.

You're telling me!

Especially the option allowing your careful driving of the T6 - 2l turbo petrol PLUS supercharger, developing 224kW - to achieve this value.

Possibly if the national speed limit was 90km/h, as it is in winter in Norway, but not at a speed limit of 120km/h or the 75mph equivalent.

From the list, the T5 was not available at the time - 2l turbo petrol making 180kW - but I have one of these, and on a recent trip got the consumption down to 8.2l/100km on a 670km tank, with speed control set to 120km/h, where possible. Ave speed over the distance was 96km/h.

So quoting a possible 6.3l/100km on the T6, is just plain insulting and not achievable under real world conditions.

Possibly in some parallel universe?

Might look at having polestar on my D5 AWD, average 25 mpg, I thought i would get more than this tbh. However is a lovely drive, maybe i like the sound to much

The problem is that "T6" included a wide variety of engines, from the early stonking 3L straight six turbos, to the new, high tech 2L turbo+supercharged mild hybrids. It would be good if that could be differentiated...
