Non Volvo Drivers.

I've had an enquiry from somebody who would like to attend the event as a spectator.
Is this acceptable?

you have a fair point, I hope the police are involved to at least control the roads at the start and end of the day, bit like leaving silverstone on grand prix day where certain roads are made one way only.

This event has grown a lot since its inception.

I will be there too, but when you see a post making a valid point....

Ok

It would be ok if there was a few places where cars could hold up for a bit but there isn't. The shearsby bath has a very large parking area which is around a1/4 of a mile from the entrance..may be worth getting in touch with them to see if we could park in there for a while would probably hold 200-300 cars...

Hope

I hope the folks that are coming from abroad get the early enough otherwise that would be annoying for them to come all that way and not make it in

I am sure it will be well organised. Reason for having the form in the window is go to straight in where as far as I aware is to be allocated to a safety car (49 cars to 1 safety car). You them take your form to register.

Looking on Google earth parking would not be a problem as it's a big place.

No point missing out due to ifs and maybes.

I realise there's going to be an awful lot of vehicles arriving within a short space of time but I'm sure the organization team are monitoring the situation and have made/are making the necessary arrangements to cope with this.

I've been to plenty of high traffic events at Brunters and there's actually 3 or 4 ways in or out from all sides. (Main entrance, Industrial estate entrance and Runway gates)

I'd imagine they'll do what other events do and use all of them. It wont be that bad.
Yes there will be some queuing, but at least we'll have some nice cars to look at

Three things:

- No distance is too far for this (in response to those blaming that for not coming)!

- I have been to events at Beaulieu with 1500 cars turning up and they manage with two entrances coming off country roads so I think Bruntingthorpe will manage with this.

- Is anybody meeting at Chester Services?
