M40 or M40G 4 speed gearbox

Looking for a 4 speed M40 non overdrive gearbox. May take one with noisy bearings requiring bearing replacement. Willing to collect within a reasonable distance from Sheffield. Thankyou. Chris

No worries £100 for a good one you can use all you will need todo is drain oil and put good fresh in with a clean if you want it perfect and fit no repairs required 😎👍

Hi Chris, I have a good M40, near Droitwich, also £100. I've got a twin carb, twin exhaust outlet manifold, if that's the one you're after, too.

Hi Andy,
Good to hear from you again. There was a short period where the exhaust manifold was twin outlet and separate from the inlet, 1967 ish. This is the item I want, not the combined manifold.
Thanks for the gearbox offer, I am still hoping to find one more on my doorstep.

There's one of those combined manifolds with the butterflies, on e-bay at the moment for £48, in Nuneaton. I didn't notice if he was doing postage, but he probably would. You could cut the inlet part off, I've done that before.
