850 OBDII bluetooth dongle
Some of the guys here were asking for a link to the OBD dongle for the 850 to connect to the 850 OBDII app and the vendor I bought mine from has now listed them on eBay
I have no connection to the vendor but he sorted my OBD dongle out CLICK

Dongle
Hello
Interested in its use. Can I read codes from my port under the coin tray in my 1995 NA 850 & 1996 850 T5. I guess its for use with a phone, will it work on an I phone? I am a complete idiot when it comes to technology. I do have a DIY code reader, but not sure if this gadget will be instead of that. Can anybody give me a clue please? |

The App required is the 850 OBDII which is available from Google Play for less than a couple of pounds
You need an android phone as it doesn't work on Apple phones

So I spoke with Aleksi, the creator of the 850 OBD app, and he advised that you really need to have V1.4b full support in order for the ELM327 to work.
He said that the market had been flooded with Chinese versions which claim V2/V2.1 support, but they do not work, so to buy carefully. Alongside 4x4's recommendation, there is the Torque ELM327 on eBay for £5 which has V1.5 support and good reviews. I'm going to give this a try to see if it works on my 1995 car with "OBD2". |

Good luck with that, let us know how you get on as I tried several before I managed to get the one above which I know works
