Roof bag and fitting to XC60 2015

Hello everyone. We're going camping and could do with more space. This looks like a good option but in the reviews it says if you use just the straps that go between the door and run under the roof it might leak through the doors in rain. My question is that in one of the images of this product on Amazon, it looks like it can fit to the side rails that my XC60 seems to have. I don't have any roof bars but I do have side rails similar to this car (attached photo). Does anyone have any experience to say whether or not this would work and might be a good idea?
