The Infamous DPF - V70
The topic has probably been done to death and if I'm missing the answer elsewhere then apologies!
Basically I'm looking to buy a 2003 V70, 2.4 D5 and I'm not sure whether it has a DPF. I gather that if I knew the VIN then the 8th letter would give it away, but I don't know it and so wondered whether it was a simple case that a 2003 pre-dates the introduction of DPF's? |

it wont have one don't worry 2006 models and onwards. grey engine cover means dpf black means non
your right its been done to the death haha should be made a sticky for all to see really
